Hola!

Sorry 'bout the "no posts" of late, for I took a computer break, and was....not writing posts. :) lol

Sooooooo, how are all of you?  I'm doing quite well, to say the least.

Anything interesting, exciting or ...anything?  Well, on Friday our Book Club is going to Mrs. Fullers (our "leader's") house to have a "French/English" tea, and then maybe watching the Scarlet Pimpernel.  --We've been reading that, The Scarlet Pimpernel for our Book Club.  I highly recommend it! :) 

Ummmm...On...I think the twenty-seventh, of this month we are going down to Milwaukee to a Brewers game with most of our Pyatskowit Family! It's gonna be so much fun! --I was hoping to get a bigger, better zoom for my 20D Canon soes I could get pics of the players but...I dunno.

We got our registration forms for BYC camp! :) Me is so excited! :) We're going, June 25th - July 2nd.

Today...a nice day....:) Tonight is the Spelling Bee! I'm rawther excited. I did okay last year, but would prefer to do MUCH better.

School is going along...nicely, if you would like to say that. I'm just ready for it to be over.  I think I should get done with most of my subjects end of April or Early May. But, that's my estimating, I think Math might go to like the middle of May. I dunno. :)

Tomorrow, we are going to my Pyatskowit Grandparents, for Nannie is having "Bird Night" for all her dear grandkids. :)  It's a "easter candy galore". Seriously, candy is handed out after practically EVERY statement. It's very bad for the health...:)

I wrote a report. Sortof interesting, it was on Bird Migration. Also to be included in the Bird Night.....

It's An Update

Ello! :) How are all of my fine followers, readers et cetra? I am doing...supercalifragilisticexpialidocious! I probably spelled that wrong. *sigh*

Hmmmm, today was supposed to be a Maple Syrup field trip at Whispering Pines. :) But...seeing that we're got MORE snow, *grrr* and the roads are  slick, icy, etc. we  are going to delay it until tomorrow.

On Friday, we having Book Club, and are probably going to clean m'dear Aunt Paula's house, AND we might be having my grandparents over for supper. Ack, can any of you imagine the word "busy"? lol

Next week, is the SACHE Spelling Bee. Ooohh heavens, good grief. I hope that my spelling shall "return to memory!" :))

The Latest News

Welleth, on Thursday afternoon we went to the Menominee Tribal Clinic, and had our eye appointments.  I really didn't want to get glasses...unless we got some that I actually liked.....but they didn't have very nice ones.  So, I have contacts! :) They are SOOOOOOOOOO nice!  I was on "trial" with them until last Friday, and since I liked them, I  got  three new pairs, and get to keep those. : ) I am SO HAPPY!

An Update on Me and Mine

How are all of you blogging friends doing?!  I myself, am doing very well indeed.. : )

The most exciting thing happening this week is: the Volley-Ball Tournament!  Man, am I excited for that! : ) On Friday evening, Anna and I are going to the Bergmann's (check out Bailey and Bethany's blogs) house, and are going to be staying over night.  - Seeing that the tournament is in Madison, and we have to get up SUPER early to go. : ) I'm really excited. : )

Also this Saturday is Maddi Stuewer's birthday!  Happy Birthday Maddi!  We are going to her birthday party, on Sunday.  

On Tuesday, I made some awesome molasses cookies. *sighs heavenly* They were SOOOOOO good.  (There is a post about them!) You really should make some.  I like *l*o*v*e molasses cookies! : )

Friday...I have an eye appointment at 10:30, then Anna and Isaac have chiropracter appointments later. : )

Hey ya!

I have been taking a bit of a blog/computer break, the last few days, and am finally getting back to ya'll.  Sorry 'bout the delay!

Starting Sunday we are going to be watching Seth, while his parents, and JJ and Elise go on a trip for Aunt Megan and Uncle Jonathan's Anniversary!  :) It should be fun, and we're looking forward to it.  Having a toddler in the house for three days will be different!

Saturday, we are probably going to be going ice-fishing with Dad and Grandpa, maybe some of our cousins~  :)  We weren't sure if we would be able to go, because of ordience 10-29 that was defeated...it said that descendents wouldn't be able to go on the Rez anymore. :'( It's not cool.

This is for Maria, Maddi and the other PACKER fans! CAN YOU BELIEVE WE ARE GOING TO THE SUPERBOWL!? GO PACK!

Random Update On Me and Mine

'Ello, hello all of you!  I trust you all are doing great, and feeling healthy, wealthy and wise! lol

Hm, what's been going on? Well, at mwa house, we've been getting ready for the SACHE Homeschool Game Night that we are hosting on Friday. So yesterday and today we've been cleaning the house so we could be all ready and prepared for the big night!

Also on Friday Anna has science co-op, then we have our first ever LITERATURE CIRCLE! Coolness right!  Mrs. Fuller and Mom are the "Literature Instructers".  Anna and I are in the "older girls" group and will be reading "The Miracle Worker", the "older boys" will be reading "The Hobbit" and the younger children will be reading "The Railway Children." I myself think it will be a lot of fun!

We got like six bags of clothes from a woman we know, so I am "stocked up" on some shirts and such.  :)  That was really nice!

Nothing else has really been going on...

Writing...Drawing...Writing...Drawing

Hello all of you,

Well, as you can see from the title, I've been doing a lot of writing and drawing.  But, for whom? There is a magazine called Stone Soup that asks children 8-13 to submit their artwork, stories, poems and book reviews for their magazine.

I sent in a story once before, but receiving no reply, I don't think it was accepted.  But...this time I have already sent in two pictures, I've written six stories, (probably only going to send in five of them though) and one good poem. :D So...hopefully I can get some of them published. :)

Random Update

How have all of you great people been doing?  I've been doing pretty good, myself!

Another question, how were your Thanksgivings?  Ours went really well, we had so much fun, it was just awesome!

Yesterday, I finished school at like...10:05 which was really nice, seeing that...well, I could read more out of "Old Fashioned Girl" by Louisa May Alcott.  :D Maria, it's a good book!

On Friday afternoon Anna and I went to Maria and Krista Fuller's house, for a sleep over.  We had lots of fun.  Thanks again for inviting us, Maria! We talked until like 12:00 PM and played Wii.  Wii was a lot of fun..Sword Duel is probably the most used game, on there!  Back to moi subject, yes, yes, we had a lot of fun!

Saturday...we were still at the Fuller's until about like 3:00 in the afternoon, which suited us just fine! So, we played Wii, mafia, had facials...(the peel off kind) and played statues. Then, mom came and picked us up, and we went to Walmart and Goodwill, then we were off to our Grandparents for supper.  That was also really good. I got to see m'dear favoritest cousin Maddi. :D  She is the cutest little thing ever! Here's a picture.

That's about all of interest that has been happening...I think on Wednesday we have Dentist appt.  Joy, I don't like Dentist appointments. :( Oh, well...

Random Ramblings

M'dear Followers and whoever else,

Lately it's been rather busy. :((  I've doubled up in school, because on Thursday we are leaving for Ohio for the Skaggs Family Thankgiving. :D We'll be there all weekend, and it'll be a  lot of fun!!!

I have this horrible cold, that includes runny/stuffy nose, and kinda sore and all that good jazz. But, whatever....I'm trying to get over it, so it'll be gone by the time we go to Ohio. :D

Something's wrong with this space-bar thing/keyboard. It's being really weird.

Dad is hunting...Isaac and Becca are playing something...And Mom and Anna are...I don't know what Mom and Anna are doi-

*Oops! I just broke the keyboard!* :D No really, I did break the keyboard, not right this second but I did break it. I was agitated about...(What! Don't laugh, no I did not grab the k-board and throw it in the screen!)the spacebar was not working, and I was trying to find out what was wrong with it...so I was prying the piece of plastic we call space bar and then seeing if that would help...well I pried too hard!  The piece came off...."Oh Goodness...Dad's gonna kill me." Was something to the thought when I looked at the piece...But, luckily I finally fixed it...and the spacebar is working!!!!

-I don't know what Mom and Anna are doing..

Just Keep Cleanin'...Just Keep Cleanin'

Two Saturdays ago, I cleaned out my closet, my side of the dresser drawers, and Anna and I both cleaned our room. :D  It needed it....kinda bad.

Now that it is clean, it's nice to be able to pick it up in the morning in five minutes, instead of it taking a whole afternoon on a Saturday. :D

Just kinda a random note, that we cleaned. :D

A Typical School Day

Today was just a regular school day for me...maybe faster, maybe not. :D But, it was nice getting done!

Anna and I might have ridden our bikes to the library today. -  I tried to convince her to go... ;P  ((impatient sigh)) :D She wants me to move the hill...:P

How has your day been?

Well, my latest sewing project hasn't been going well, or at least well....I was making this nightgown for Becca, her birthday is on Thursday. :)  I finnaalllyyyy got the pattern and cloth cut, and guess what, the nightgown fits MEEEEEEEE. :'(( Noooooooo.  Mum suggests that I keep that for myself, and make another one for her. I will have to get busy, her birthday is like two days away. *sigh* So, I cut out another one...I still have a little bit left.

Quite interesting, eh?

Random Ramblings

I don't really have anything especially important to do right now…So I could just grab a book, jump in to a comfortable position and start sipping a cup of tea...Ah, bliss, sweet bliss.

- But, I'm not...at least not at the moment.

If you were to ask why I'm not in a comfy position with a book and a cup of tea...I could say a lot of things. One, I am on here, two I am thinking, three...well...we'll just leave that at three. :D

People think like all the time. :D But, I was thinking about something exciting! People who don't find writing interesting, and absolutely abhor it would really think this is boring, except for the money. :D What then am I thinking about!? Well, there is an essay contest called Patriot's Pen. Most homeschoolers have heard about it. In the Clintonville area, they weren't even going to have the contest. But, since Mom called and asked about it, they are...thus bringing a chance for me to actually win it. :D Hopefully, there will be some people who participate.

Yeah, so I had been thinking about how and what to write the essay about...((hmmm, I wonder if all those thoughts whirling around one's head, is good for them...)) :D I was brainstorming/researching and produced three pages of information I could write about.

- Bayleaf, you are the one who enjoys all of this stuff, right?

Actually, it's not too bad. I probably even thought it fun! The joys of writing an essay. :D

I know this is rather off subject. But has anybody thought of what they could get if they win...I was thinking of a laptop or an iPod. That's what I would like.

NOW do you all realize why I have titled this post, "Random Ramblings" It's all kind of thrown together, in a blurb...?

Yeah, so...mmmhhhmmmm...

Yeah.

A Four Year Olds View...

A four yr. old's views on marriage...last night Becca started a conversation that went to the likes of this:

Becca = B

Me = M

B: "Guess Who's Married!"

M: "Who?"

B: "Michael!"

M: "Michael Vick?!"

B: "Is Michael Vick a Christian?"

M: "Um, I don't think so."

B: "I mean Michael Booth."

M: *chuckle*

B: "I'm gonna ask him if he's married!"

Yeah, that's how my sister thinks about marriage.. lol. 'least that's how it sounds like she thinks about marriage! Lol, little sisters!

Awesomeness

We got a new computer... I think in September, because or old one was in the process or did crash. :( So, we bought a new one...sensible thing to do. :D So...we got this computer, and were all excited about the things we would be able to do. Sadly, we still couldn't upload pictures, or edit our design on blogger...:( Which we were hoping to do.



I asked a woman who is rather good with computer if she knew what was wrong, and if she could take a look. She looked..and tried...and tried..and tried somemore...but still couldn't figure it out. She thought it was Java but couldn't repair it. She said, if she came across something to help, she would tell us.


One of the guys, or girls mom talked to, thought our brand, new, computer was junk...it couldn't be, we had just bought it..."more confuzzledness"...



Lately, our NEW computer, has been acting up. :(( All this blah, blah, blah stuff...Mom has been making calls, trying things, been given instructins, called some more, etc. But today, after what probably seemed to her, a million calls...They figured it out!



One of the many people mom talked to, came up with the idea, that they should take all the programs off and start over...and it actually worked! I can now, edit the design, and upload pictures onto blogger!!!



So, that is how our computer now works!

Volley Ball Fun

:D This afternoon, Anna and I went to Volleyball Fun Days, along with other girls and a few boys.

Whoever has played volleyball, or is playing it, must know how exactly fun it is. Especially if you can get a volley going and have it work.

Volleyball is awesome! It is soooooooooooo much fun.

:D Just a post on how awesome volleyball is...yaknow...kinda random...just kinda spur of the moment....

In volleyball, we were introduced to the ready positions and then scrimmage. :D We also did exercises and I think it's called a team drill.

It was fun.

Anne...With An "E"

As you might be able to guess, from the title, mainly my mom, Anna, and I have been watching Anne Of Green Gables.

Who all has watched the movie? Who all loves it? Isn't it a woouuundddroousssss movie? Anne is sooo funny! In the beginning she is forever apologizing for talking too much, asking if she is talking to much, and saying that so and so said that she shouldn't talk so much!

When watching, did anyone note that when I beleive she was talking to Marilla she says something to the likes of "This is the most tragical day of my life". lol.

An imagination as big as the sky, and a friend who lives in a window...That is the fun of the life of Anne (spelled with an "E") Shirley's life..:D

Labor Day

As y'all know yesterday was Labor Day. :D

Yesterday, I woke up and was thinking about the answers I would put for the "Tag" thing that is going around on the blogs. After I got up I went and started to write down my answers and then post them....

It was a rather lazy morning, complete with French Toast and Hot Chocolate for breakfast. :) We worked on our morning chores and proceeded to do the extra things assigned to us, and I read.

Later Dad called me to get a bottle of Tylenol/aspirin out of the van. - You see, somehow a while back a bottle of that got stuck in the back of a compartment in the van..we didn't know how to get it out. But, while he was cleaning out the van; Dad found a small opening in the side of that compartment just the size for a small hand ....I was thought of and called. And TAH-DAH! A bottle of pain reliever! A great deed accomplished! :D Joking...sort of!

A couple came over for a while and talked. While waiting for them to leave, I cleaned out the fire pit and got wood, paper sticks, matches for starting the fire we would have that night. It was ready and Dad came out to start it...then he went out to finish some of the van...

Meanwhile, the neighbor girls had been asking if they could come over...they could so they stayed until we were going to eat.

We had a supper of a wiener roast, and smores... :D MMMMMM...then after a awhile it started to rain. :(( Not so nice, we took everything in and that was the end of our wiener roast! Thankfully we had basically finished roasting and such..

After we cleaned up, Becca Isaac and I went out to play:

School...

Ah, today school for me took quite a while.. 'til just a while after Dad got home. You see, yesterday we didnt' do school - Dad being home and all so we had TWO 2 days of school to do...today. So, it took a while.


- But guess what! I only have Write Shop and Computer Class sort of things left!! Aren't ya'll proud?!


Write shop actually isn't incredibaly bad after all! It's actually more fun than Writing Strands...The difference in Writing!
