Ordinary Life,

The kiddies were playing Skip-Bo, and because I want to do better with photographing "ordinary life", I snapped some picures.

My schooling takes place like this, folks!

Ah, Piano. I recently started taking lessons, and have really enjoyed them.  Right now besides my "regular" lessons,  I'm working on Prelude in E Minor, Prelude in B Minor and For the Beauty of the Earth. Fun, no?

Tip: No Sprained Ankles

Tip: do not get a sprained ankle. Period.

We had Maria and Krista Fuller over, and were (wow) playing a running game.  So when yours truly stopped "moving",  my ankle kinda...rolled over. It was rather painful, if you catch my meaning.

The Saturday after, I spent a lot of the day, like this:

Book: check, (r)ice pack: check.

Thankfully, I found that while I was researching, I most likely only had a grade 1 or minor sprained ankle.  Merely a few pulled muscles, and or tendons et cetra. So, three days later, it was much better, and hardly noticeable!

It's...An (UPDATE)

Hello, my fellow bloggers!!!

How have you been fairing in this fine month of October?!  I've been okay, although I had been fighting a cold, very annoying.  But, yes, I've been pretty good!

On Sunday, we went to Haymen Falls for a picnic after church.  Dad came up with that bRiLlIaNt idear...It was a LOT of fun.  Haymen Falls is surrounded by trees, has a park, and beautiful rapids.

Brother Dale and his wife, Sister Joanne came for Special Services this past weekend (10/2/11).  Actually, they came on Friday, and stayed until Tuesday, but the service was on Sunday...Duh. On Saturday morning, we went to Mares Pumpkin Fest, and watched them shoot pumpkins, and gourds out of a cannon. Very interesting, indeed!
Bro. Dale, Dad, Isaac, Aunt Cyndi, and Uncle Andy went golfing on Saturday and Mum, Anna and Becc's went to town. Me, myself, and I stayed home and later did school...

On Tuesday Aunt Megan took us to the Neville Museum to see the special display on Anne Frank.  We were going to go on Monday, but she had to work, anyhoo...We looked at some different displays, besides the Anne Frank one, which were interesting.  We then went to lunch, and did some errands around Green Bay.  Thanks for taking us, Aunt Megan!!!

Hope you enjoyed this bit of random!

*hugs*

Up...Date...

Today...a nice day....:) Tonight is the Spelling Bee! I'm rawther excited. I did okay last year, but would prefer to do MUCH better.

School is going along...nicely, if you would like to say that. I'm just ready for it to be over.  I think I should get done with most of my subjects end of April or Early May. But, that's my estimating, I think Math might go to like the middle of May. I dunno. :)

Tomorrow, we are going to my Pyatskowit Grandparents, for Nannie is having "Bird Night" for all her dear grandkids. :)  It's a "easter candy galore". Seriously, candy is handed out after practically EVERY statement. It's very bad for the health...:)

I wrote a report. Sortof interesting, it was on Bird Migration. Also to be included in the Bird Night.....

Hey ya!

I have been taking a bit of a blog/computer break, the last few days, and am finally getting back to ya'll.  Sorry 'bout the delay!

Starting Sunday we are going to be watching Seth, while his parents, and JJ and Elise go on a trip for Aunt Megan and Uncle Jonathan's Anniversary!  :) It should be fun, and we're looking forward to it.  Having a toddler in the house for three days will be different!
Saturday, we are probably going to be going ice-fishing with Dad and Grandpa, maybe some of our cousins~  :)  We weren't sure if we would be able to go, because of ordience 10-29 that was defeated...it said that descendents wouldn't be able to go on the Rez anymore. :'( It's not cool.

This is for Maria, Maddi and the other PACKER fans! CAN YOU BELIEVE WE ARE GOING TO THE SUPERBOWL!? GO PACK!

I am starting mwa very first "I <3 Snappin'" photo day! :)

Have a great day!!!

Random Update on Me and Mine

Hello everyone,

How art all of you? I should hope you all are in good health, and are feeling very wise. :D lol jk.

Hm, what's been going on lately in mwa life. I suppose some of you would be quite interested wouldn't you...Well, then I shall tell you!

Well, Tuesday was Isaac's birthday, as you may know from the post I posted. He turned nine, believe it or not, and now has some new toys to play with. :)

Thursday, Mom, Anna, Becca and I went to the Life of Faith Civil War Teaparty. I went earlier at around 9:30 to help the girls get everything ready and situated, which was quite fun, since I knew like all the girls there!  I will have pictures shortly.

This coming Tuesday is my birthday. Yes, yes, it's my birthday. Turning twelve. Joyous. Interesting. Fun. I'm going to have Bethany, Hannah, Maria, and Krista, so we should have a lot of fun. :D

Is there anything happening with you all?

*hugs*

Random Ramblings

M'dear Followers and whoever else,

Lately it's been rather busy. :((  I've doubled up in school, because on Thursday we are leaving for Ohio for the Skaggs Family Thankgiving. :D We'll be there all weekend, and it'll be a  lot of fun!!!

I have this horrible cold, that includes runny/stuffy nose, and kinda sore and all that good jazz. But, whatever....I'm trying to get over it, so it'll be gone by the time we go to Ohio. :D

Something's wrong with this space-bar thing/keyboard. It's being really weird.

Dad is hunting...Isaac and Becca are playing something...And Mom and Anna are...I don't know what Mom and Anna are doi-

*Oops! I just broke the keyboard!* :D No really, I did break the keyboard, not right this second but I did break it. I was agitated about...(What! Don't laugh, no I did not grab the k-board and throw it in the screen!)the spacebar was not working, and I was trying to find out what was wrong with it...so I was prying the piece of plastic we call space bar and then seeing if that would help...well I pried too hard!  The piece came off...."Oh Goodness...Dad's gonna kill me." Was something to the thought when I looked at the piece...But, luckily I finally fixed it...and the spacebar is working!!!!

-I don't know what Mom and Anna are doing..

Have a wondrous evening!!!

Random Ramblings

I don't really have anything especially important to do right now…So I could just grab a book, jump in to a comfortable position and start sipping a cup of tea...Ah, bliss, sweet bliss.

- But, I'm not...at least not at the moment.

If you were to ask why I'm not in a comfy position with a book and a cup of tea...I could say a lot of things. One, I am on here, two I am thinking, three...well...we'll just leave that at three. :D

People think like all the time. :D But, I was thinking about something exciting! People who don't find writing interesting, and absolutely abhor it would really think this is boring, except for the money. :D What then am I thinking about!? Well, there is an essay contest called Patriot's Pen. Most homeschoolers have heard about it. In the Clintonville area, they weren't even going to have the contest. But, since Mom called and asked about it, they are...thus bringing a chance for me to actually win it. :D Hopefully, there will be some people who participate.

Yeah, so I had been thinking about how and what to write the essay about...((hmmm, I wonder if all those thoughts whirling around one's head, is good for them...)) :D I was brainstorming/researching and produced three pages of information I could write about.

- Bayleaf, you are the one who enjoys all of this stuff, right?

Actually, it's not too bad. I probably even thought it fun! The joys of writing an essay. :D

I know this is rather off subject. But has anybody thought of what they could get if they win...I was thinking of a laptop or an iPod. That's what I would like.

NOW do you all realize why I have titled this post, "Random Ramblings" It's all kind of thrown together, in a blurb...?

Yeah, so...mmmhhhmmmm...

Yeah.

I think this is enough for one post!

Signing Off,

Kara

An Enjoyable Night

Ah, we actually don't have places to go, people to meet etc. tonight. It is really relaxing...

At the moment I am at m'dear grandparent's "Grandpa and Nannie's" house. We had a wonderful, delicious, supper, prepared by Nannie, consisting of; chicken and rice, corn on the cob, and for dessert a luscious watermelon! It was all really good...My Nannie is an expert cook.

As you can see, I have made some changes on my blog. I had to come on someones computer which actually lets you do things. So I sent Anna, my newly created blog heading (Made by me best friend Floppy) and then got it uploaded, added some pictures and buttons. (Bayleaf, I used your "I luv comments" I thought it was cute! So, I'm happy...and I hope you all are too!

Right now, Grandpa, Dad and Isaac are moving a hutch out the door, to Dad's truck, which is a few feet away... - The hutch is for next years school books! - By the way mom completed all of our school year schedules this morning, she is very pleased.

The only other thing...we picked 2 and a 1/2 five gallon pails of green beans, a bucket of raspberries, and some peas today. We also went on a field trip to an organic farm. And now are at me grandparent's house.

Have a great night!

Another Post...Finally!

To my "post hungry" blog followers, I'm sorry about not posting lately. Our family has had a lot of company and busy things happening the past...few months, so it's been hard to post, but now I am!!!

Our BIG surprise finally arrived last week! A new Pontiac-Montana van. Its awesome, there are (so it seems) tons of compartments and drink holders, a DVD player, reclining seats, (our old van seats didn't recline except for the driver and passenger seats). My mom's favorite part is the organized trunk. The van also has a CD and MP3 player, and all sorts of other fun stuff!!! Yes, as you can tell, I enjoy our new van!

Another exciting happening is that Anna is coming back from Ohio Youth Camp tomorrow! It will be nice to have her back...Especially for weeding and mowing! (Just kidding, that's not the only reason. :p) Hopefully she had a good time.

Dad is going to help Bro. Ed stack/throw (as they call it) hay, tonight. He should be gone for about 3 hrs. and then Mom is going shopping...grocery shopping, so I am probably NOT going. I almost despise grocery shopping...well most shopping. :)

Bethany (Flop, as I refer to her) Christian, Hannah and Joshua Bergmann came over Tuesday. We (Flop, Hannah and I) attempted to play tennis, went to the park, played Dutch Blitz, etc. They really should come over more often.

Let's see....Saturday, we are having Anna's Birthday party. She will be turning the grand number of 14 yrs. old. (Oh! I have to plan everything...yet.) Bethany, Bailey, and some of the other Bergmann kids, will be coming, along with my grandparents and Uncle Jonathan and Aunt Megan. Happy early Birthday Anna!!!

Hope "ya'll" have a good week/weekend!

((hugs))

The Latest Events

The latest events happening this week are the following;

On Monday, we were just exhausted from a most exotic and wonderful weekend. So, after sleeping in, I got up and mozied around for a bit, and then before lunch-time had the wonderful idear of going to the Olen Park for a picnic lunch. Mother agreed and we set off. What a time we had, boy it was fun!!!

Tuesday; My family has been excited for quite some time of an "unknown to you all secret", and Tuesday was the day it was supposed to happen. But, plans were changed and we were all a bit disappointed. Dad had planned to go to my grandparents to get a haircut, so we went and took a walk, rode the bikes down to see the Grover's horses, (that were in the other pasture) and when we got back, Dad had received the haircut he was due. We were going to leave, but wait! My wonderful Grandpa, had prepared a snack for us. Cold lemonade and snack mix. (Mmmmm, it was really good!) We came home and then went to bed. That was Tuesday.

Wednesday; I woke up at 6:20 something, but waited in bed until about 6:30 to really get up. (Shame, shame, I know!) I got up as usual, slowly and trying to be quiet so as not to wake up my sisters Anna and Becca in my descent. I got downstairs and pulled my hair into a tighter pony-tail. Then, I helped Mom with making Dad's lunch. At around 6: 40 - 45 or so I went and took Dad's lunch and daily coffee (he probably couldn't live without coffee. ;) out to the truck and started it. Well...I attempted to start it! Many other mornings it had started just fine (except, when I was just beginning to start his truck and it rolled forward a bit). Well, after pressing the brake, pulling the shifter into a different gear, and pushing my foot on the clutch pedal, I turned the key. VROUMPH! Said the truck as it jumped/lurched. (Can trucks jump!?) With a racing heart, I slowly put my foot on the brake and looked at the shifter. I then saw the problem, I had it in the wrong gear. So, adjusting it I started it without a problem. I ran inside and ate breakfast.

We had to pick up Anna and Seth to go take Anna shopping for needed accessories for camp, (She is going to Believers Youth Camp in Oh on Fri.) then Mom and Isaac had chiropractor appts. So, Becca and I stayed with Anna and Seth at Aunt Megan's for some lunch, then mom came back and we went home.

We set up the pool!! Yay! I am so glad, since it has been so warm and humid I think we actually might need it!!! It took about 2 and 1/2 hours to fill it. So, it took a resonable amount of time.

Well, you just got an update in the life of Me!

Have a great day!!

Kara, Pip (whatever you like to call me, just not something mean!!)
