On a cold, windy Saturday, my Dad, two youngest siblings  and I went ice-fishing! We went to Legend Lake, and although we didn't catch any pan-fish (we did have a few flags, though) had fun.

Uncle Jonathan and I went looking for muskrats (seeing he traps them) for a while, then I got to drive his truck back to our "fishing location". :D

I really like this song that the Booth Brothers sing called Standing Tall. I think this song fits my Dad. Even though some of the things he's gone through have been hard, but he's still standing tall.

It's the All Perfect Dad :))

My Dad rocks. Period. :)  Of course, maybe said in different words, all girls think that! But, I can say that because he does, truely!  ;)

He has a hilariously awesome sense of humor.  --Not to mention the great smile

He is a wonderful, godly Father, who teaches us from God's word

He takes us sledding and ice-skating.  :)

 He's just what you'd call awesome.

I love you, Dad! I hope you have an AWESOME Father's Day.  --Almost as awesome as you!

 

{ She's My Best Friend }

Medium height.  Long, thick, brown hair. Beautiful. All of those things, fit the description of my best friend.   Her name?  Bethany Grace. 

((I know I posted about her on her birthday but...truth is, I love her so much, I'm gonna post again.))

I love that girl. Since the day I met her at a WRHS picnik, somethin' clicked, that made us best friends.  Through these years that I've known her, she's encouraged me, helped me, guided me, prayed for me, and most of all:  been there for me.  She's the bestest, wonderfullest, sawesomest best friend a girl could have.

And I'm thankful for you, Bethany Grace.

I love you so much!

SACHE Spelling Bee

On March 31st 2011, the participant's of the SACHE Spelling Bee were seated in Divine Saviour Lutheran Church in Shawano.  The 1st through 3rd grade students were the first to compete, and the winner of the competition was nine years old,  Brook Thompsan. The older group, which consisted of the 4th through 8th grade participants.  After a time, the spellers dwindled until only Madeline Stuewer and Maria Fuller were left sitting. The winner of the older division of spellers was fourteen years old , Madeline Stuewer!  Congrats, Brook and Maddi! :)

P.S. Sorry, if you didn't like the...newspaper-y kind of writing!

Aherm, Mr. Stuewer told the correct spelling of the word, when there were only two contestants left!
