the happy (rather strange) cowboy at the back of the TT Geometry book, celebrating the last lesson |
what your binder will look like after a school year. . . |
I finished school today - officially finished school. :) As I closed the last book (which was Geometry) I felt a great sense of satisfaction, as well as, dare I say it: relief. Don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed the school year, and it's studies, but it's always nice to finish school for the year. :)
saying au revoir (until next year, of course) to:
inductive and deductive reasoning
proofs
coordinate geometry
finding the equilibrium of a molecule
figuring out which atoms were either oxidized or reduced in a molecule's reaction
writing essays on Freud and his theories
morbidly strange reading books (the Scarlet Letter or The Giver, anyone?)
au revoir, school year of 2013-2014.

YEEEEESSSS! Congratulations. {Your first photo was an awesomely cute way to announce the success, btw.}
Congratulations, Kara! I really appreciate the way you apply yourself to your studies. You hold yourself to a very high standard and I'm thankful for it.
Love,
Mom
Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait....DONE?!?!?! At the end of April? I'm positively fuming with envy. :)
No, but high fives for you - getting through The Scarlet Letter (ugh) and putting a brave face to Geometry. And equilibrium of molecules? Oh, my.
And I love the sticky not you pasted on your books. It makes everything so much more official, right?
